Quito Old Town+ Middle of the World

Juan organized a wonderful itinerary at short notice (2 days) during our Quito layover. Given that the tour was going to be 6 hours instead of his usual 8 hour tour, he himself reduced the cost of the tour. He was very prompt in his responses. He is very professional and pleasant in his demeanour and interaction. He has a good command of English and is very knowledgeable. He kept us entertained with local lores and legends. He went above and beyond by even storing our luggage safely.

Juan was an extremely helpful and knowledgeable guide for our tour. His command of English made it very easy for us to follow all his guidance and local details. A perfect day’s travel in Quito Old Town and the Middle of the World.

We had a fantastic day with Juan Pablo. He is very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area, and shared lots of interesting information and tidbits with us throughout the day. I appreciate that he made an effort to learn our names, including our children. We feel that we were able to see much more with Juan Pablo than had we tried to navigate everything on our own. A great way to spend a day seeing some of the sights of Quito. We highly recommended a day with Juan Pablo!

Juan Pablo gave me and my friend an excellent tour of Quito. I'm a mapmaker and I wanted a big map of Ecuador, something really hard to find, and he went out of his way to find a place that had one! I was amazed. My friend wanted a specific kind of soup, and he knew exactly the restaurant to find it at. We enjoyed talking about Ecuador and all its aspects, his English is amazing. I recommend him very much for anyone who wants to not only see Quito but to learn all about the country and culture.
