The tour will start with a quick introduction & overview of the Loop (downtown Chicago) to help you get your bearings! Already been to the Sears Tower? Tried deep-dish pizza and Chicago-style hotdogs? That's all good, but now it's time to get off the beaten path and hop on the 'L' and check out one of Chicago's 77 diverse & interesting neighborhoods and see how the locals live. On this tour, I'll show you my neighborhood, which began as predominately German and was once known as the world's celery capital! It still maintains some of its Old World feel but has a more eclectic & diverse vibe today. I will share with you some secret treasures that a lot of locals don't even know about! Are you ready for an urban adventure? Let's go!

We will meet at the Cultural Center where we begin the tour. - Cultural Center (inside and out) - Millennium Park (Pritzker Pavilion, Cloudgate & Crown Fountain) - Daley Plaza & Picasso - take the cta Brown Line to Lincoln Square to explore the neighborhood - The tour ends in Lincoln Square where you can have lunch and shop and check out the neighborhood. - I will direct everyone on how to get back downtown via the 'L'. ** Approximately 2+ mile walk. Please be prepared and dress accordingly. Tours will take place regardless of the weather.
