We had requested a longer tour since our flight did not leave until 11pm that night. Gabriel C. provided a wonderful, very informative tour of Montevideo. We saw beautiful scenery, beaches, memorial statues, government buildings, great shopping, etc. Gabriel found us a great lunch spot as well as a trendy ice cream store. The driver, Ivan, was fantastic as well, kept our luggage safe and took us to the airport at the conclusion of the tour. Highly recommend!!

Gonzalez's passion is evident as he explains the history of Uraquay & the development of the electric architecture of Montevideo during a 3 hour stroll around the city. He also weaves some of his fascinating & proud family history into his tour. He was patient & accommodating with the many questions that we asked him. Highly recommended tour guide. 5 stars. LOVED this tour and our time with Shai and driver Jaime. Learned so much about not only the Jewish history and culture of Montevideo & Uruguay, but also about the city itself and so much that makes Uruguay special. Shai is knowledgeable, charming, thoughtful — a fantastic tour guide. He brought us into the Sefardi Synagogue that is not open to the public, and spent a lot of time with us explaining everything there and the plans to create a Jewish museum there. He clearly loves this work, loves the city, and loves his role in the Jewish community of Montevideo.
