I'm a tour guide in Uruguay that likes to show visitors regular touristic places but also, some others that are not so common. My guests will hear unusual stories about our history, music hits, sports epics, traditions, culture, and after that, I'm absolutely sure they will have a different impression of our "little great" country. . . . I was guiding tours in my country since 1996. In 2004, I was leading and coordinating transportation services for the US Forces during the XLVI UNITAS multinational maritime exercises, Atlantic Phase in Uruguay. Presidential visits to our country with their committees like George Bush, Raúl Chavez and Nicolás Maduro But also my activity as a Sports Journalist broadcaster since 1980, gave me possibility to participate in two Olympic Games, other two Pan American Games, a World Basketball Champion, several "Americas" Basketball qualifying tournaments for them, letting me knowing many countries, people and cultures. I was guiding tours in my country since 1996. Before that my main activity was as a Sports Journalist, broadcasting since 1980. This gave me the possibility to participate in two Olympic Games, other two Panamerican Games, a World Basketball Champion, several "Americas" Basketball qualifying tournaments for them, letting me knowing many countries, people and cultures. I don´t have any restrictions in regard to my guiding services

Experience visiting historical sites in the Old Town looking for some remainings of the fortress city, introduce into an antique dealers free market, take a picture of the first World Football Cup Stadium, or admire the magnificent architecture of the Congress Building. Also share and experience the customs and traditions of a regular Uruguayan family in their own home… A homemade barbecue lunch consisting on typical Uruguayan food: sausages (chorizos), ribs (asado), beef, chicken, sweet red peppers, sweet potatoes, corn and onions, roasted burning natural wood, also drinking and tasting the thypical Tannat Uruguayan wine, a wine as strong as the Uruguayan players who defeated Brazil at the World Champion final in Rio de Janeiro in 1950. . .

Herbert was a great tour guide. He met us at the port, he was on time and his transportation was excellent. Every stop was interesting, informative, and beautiful. The six of us learned so much about Montevideo. Our lunch was delicious and we enjoyed the company of Herbert and his lovely wife. I would recommend Herbert to any group no matter what ages, as he is a timeless tour guide. Thank you for making our stop in Uruguay most memorable.

We looked forward to another day with Herbert in a town we were familiar with, having visited it before. Our favorite site was the market that showed where residents mostly purchased their fruits and vegetables. There were many shops, coffee shops and restaurants. We did see a lot of the same sites but this time we joined Herbert, his wife, and one of his daughters in their home for a grand lunch. Their home was beautiful and welcoming. They were great hosts and the barbecue was amazing. We considered ourselves very lucky to be invited into their home. Another great day, Herbert, thank you

Herbert is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Very accommodating. Gives you space to do things on your own if you need to. We were extremely surprised that our lunch was at his house and food was prepared by his lovely wife. It have lunch a feeling of “ home”. A nice personal touch.
