Hello mate ... I welcome you to this small but very interesting country. If you want to explore and discover the beauties of this land with the freedom and going unnoticed as if you were a local, you are in the right place. We will go around together visiting all the highlights of the area and also other places of interest, some of them well-known and others not so much. When you return to your land, will remember that you not only visit what everyone knows about Uruguay but also explore secret spots that only locals frequent. My goal is to show you the most beautiful, interesting, and unique places in a very private tour, so that when you leave, you can be assured that you really got to know this land, its culture, and its people. Another differential that you will find with me is my versatility to adapt to your preferences and times. The trip is yours and the main thing is that you have a good time and enjoy yourself to your liking that you move through this country with the same freedom that you would move through yours. The tours have a marked itinerary and duration but they can be modified to suit your needs. If you like to stay in a place longer we stay, if you want to go to another faster we go. It is your private tour, so in the end you will set the pace and the itinerary. Even if you are interested in visiting a place or taking an itinerary that is not included in the tour options that I present here, feel free to contact me and tell me what you are looking that I will gladly customize for you with the route adapted to your interests. We will travel in a 4x4 SUV type vehicle, which will allow us to access all kinds of routes safely, even in places where there are not even roads. I hope you enjoy all this that I write before and I would be very happy to guide you on your visit to Uruguay and explore this beautiful land together. See you soon in this corner of the South Atlantic. The Cabo Polonio National Park is an extensive area with a great scenic beauty that still preserves typical characteristics of the Uruguayan Atlantic coast, and its original fishing villages. It is located in the department of Rocha, 264 km from Montevideo. It has three islands off its coast where there is an important reserve of sea lions. Its lighthouse has been a reference for sailors and the entire east coast since 1881. Both this place and the entire surrounding area is riddled with shipwrecks, which has earned it the label "hell for sailors". The place is completely different from any other point on the coast of the country, there is no electric light (which gives it a particular touch and allows you to appreciate the night sky at night) or running water, there are no streets but irregular paths that link the small and rudimentary houses. Those who come to spend the summer here appreciate these characteristics of contact with nature.
Everything is on foot within Polonio, so you should be prepared to walk and explore the different landscapes such as endless deserted beaches, huge rocks with passages between them or very high dunes with impressive views. Playa Sur - One of the best beaches in Uruguay with plenty of sand, rocks with small places for bathing, diving, etc. The Cape and its rocks - We will take a tour around the entire rocky point passing between the small houses and the passages between the large stones. If it is open, we will go up to the lighthouse to see the town from above, the islands and the sea lion reserve on them. Playa La Calavera - It is the beach next to the town, where the activity of artisanal fishing is concentrated. We will walk through it and its surroundings while we talk about its history. The Town - The original town will be toured with its typical craft stalls, the trails and different sectors of the Cape. If you wish, you can have lunch at one of the local restaurants or homemade food places.

The vehicle to be used is Mitsubishi Montero 4x4, licensed for 7 people, including the driver, and there are safety features for everyone. The ideal number of adults in the group should be 4 of medium build so that they can travel in total comfort. It is also possible to incorporate 2 children or teenagers if they are not large. The clarification is because the 3rd row seat is smaller than the rest. I recommend having breakfast at the hotel as early as possible so we can hit the road early.
