I'm a tour guide in Uruguay that likes to show visitors regular touristic places but also, some others that are not so common. My guests will hear unusual stories about our history, music hits, sports epics, traditions, culture, and after that, I'm absolutely sure they will have a different impression of our "little great" country. . . . I was guiding tours in my country since 1996. In 2004, I was leading and coordinating transportation services for the US Forces during the XLVI UNITAS multinational maritime exercises, Atlantic Phase in Uruguay. Presidential visits to our country with their committees like George Bush, Raúl Chavez and Nicolás Maduro But also my activity as a Sports Journalist broadcaster since 1980, gave me possibility to participate in two Olympic Games, other two Pan American Games, a World Basketball Champion, several "Americas" Basketball qualifying tournaments for them, letting me knowing many countries, people and cultures. I was guiding tours in my country since 1996. Before that my main activity was as a Sports Journalist, broadcasting since 1980. This gave me the possibility to participate in two Olympic Games, other two Panamerican Games, a World Basketball Champion, several "Americas" Basketball qualifying tournaments for them, letting me knowing many countries, people and cultures. I don´t have any restrictions in regard to my guiding services

I'm absolutely sure you will be impressed with your visit to our city. Montevideo is as calm and quiet as the water of a lagoon. But pirates stories and their ships sunk nearby the coastline, Portuguese and English trying to take control over it against Spain, and some other stories related to the 2nd World War -in addition to some other hits that happened here- will make Montevideo visitors' experience, really unforgettable. The best part of the tour is that you will hear unusual stories about our history, music hits, sports epics, traditions, culture, and after that, I'm absolutely sure they will have a different impression of my "little great" country.

We had an absolutely fabulous day with Herbert as our tour guide in Montevideo, Uruguay. Herbert picked us up at the port at 9:00 am for an incredible 6 hours of touring the city, the beautiful shoreline, some shopping and a wonderful bbq lunch at Herbert's home and was delicious and amazing! I highly recommend Herbert as your tour guide when visiting Montevideo!

We truly enjoyed our tour with Herbert. He is both fluent and witty in English and helped form the tour to our exact hopes. He also responded very quickly to a last minute request (we had been without internet for a week on a cruise so were afraid nobody would want to take us).
