I'm a University Gruaduate Tour Guide as well as National & Regional Tourism Technician fully Pfizer vaccinated against Covid-19. Ever since I was a child I always found myself continuously captivated by foreigners, be it by their languages or their cultures. Being part of a family of European immigrants and periodically exposed to different languages my entire life, this always proved to be second nature to me. In addition, I studied English for over a decade in one of the top schools in the country and to this day continue to use it on a daily basis. Thanks to this, I was able to obtain The University of Michigan's Certificate of Proficiency in English. As part of my Tourism education, I attended the United Nation's World Tourism Organization's First Seminar on the International Code for the Protection of Tourists and hold a Touristic Management certificate emitted by the Ministry of Commerce of China. I am proud to say I now have a decade of experience working in Tourism, during which I've had the privilege to provide services for worldwide organizations such as UNESCO, the UN Environment Programme, the Organization of American States & the Inter-Parliamentary Union. I've also provided tours to politicians such as South Carolina's Senate Minority Lead Brad Hutto and the Minister of Natural Resources of Guyana Vickram Bharrat. On a more personal note, being born and raised in Uruguay (the only place I ever lived in) I am wholeheartedly acquainted with its ins & outs, and feel genuine enthusiasm every time I get the opportunity to share these gems hiding in plain sight with others. I fully believe every person is unique and experiences this country in a different way, but my job is to guarantee this experience is remarkable for everyone. Even though there is a certain structure in the private tours I offer, these are always flexible to a degree, and able to be customized as to fulfill your unique expectations. I sincerely hope we can get to know each other and go around my beautiful country together!

As remarkable as it may be, a city like Punta del Este may not have the perfect set of characteristics to fulfil everyone. This is why this tour offers a bit of a different experience, by opting to go into the hinterland & immerse ourselves amidst the gorgeous surroundings of a local winery at the bottom of some nearby hills, with vineyards extending short of 20 acres around it. Here, you'd taste an array of flavours accompanied by truly incomparable landscapes. But before reaching this idyllic countryside hidden gem, you'll become aware of why Punta del Este is a city like no other. At least not that I know of! For example, it has the only street intersection I've ever stood on from which the bay can be seen from all 4 cardinal points, without this being an island! And where sea lions are hanging out at a busy city port, interacting with the fisherman daily, both things which you will be witness to. Along its coastline we'll also see both a catholic open air shrine & a centuries old 3-cannon battery!
·Our tour would begin after a pickup from a pre-arranged location such as your lodging or the port. ·Our first stop would be in the Port itself, to see the sea lions that come to get fed in front of the fisherman shops! ·Afterwards, we'd head to visit Our Lady of the Candlelight Church. ·In front of the church we'll get to see the one of a kind Italian Volcanic Ash Beacon & Municipal Meteorology Station. ·Next, we'll drive onto the 4 Seas Corner, where you'll get to see our shores from every cardinal point! ·Then we'll reach Great Britain Square where the anchors of 2 WWII's ships are enthroned. ·Later we'll stop by Our Lady of the Candlelight's Open Air Coastal Shrine. ·Of course, we'll stop by the Hand in the Sand (Los Dedos). ·After that, we'll come across the striking sight of the Triple Colonial Cannon Battery. ·Next, we'll reach a striking panoramic viewpoint before continuing to the Countryside Winery for the tasting. ·After the tasting, touring the premises & taking pictures, we'll return!
