Westminster Abbey-Changing of the Guard-Buckingham Palace-Churchill War Rooms-Private Guided 7 hour Tour

Westminster is the political and royal cockpit of this country. The Houses of Parliament is the seat of our government and our Royal family live and work at Palaces in Westminster. The Abbey is their Royal Church, the glorious stage for coronations, Royal weddings and funerals, but it also celebrates the lives of so many other great Britons that to visit is a walk through British history. Its quite a mausoleum with over 3, 000 people buried there from Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens to Stephen Hawking. During the tour we'll see all the important places in Westminster where Britain's history has been shaped and witness the stirring Changing of the Guard and visit the prettiest of the Royal Parks--St James Park, famous for its birds and ducks. After lunch we visit the Churchill War Rooms, the secret underground control centre used to plan the war effort during the 2WW. You'll be able to see how the staff worked and lived here and I'll show you highlights in the museum centred on Churchill's life.
