The Crown: what's the real story?

Hi my name is Andrew and I am a qualified London guide. My walking tours aim to do two things: give you a deeper understanding of this historic City while also being highly entertaining! I aim to offer more than the "standard" tour of highlights: I appeal to the kind of traveller who wants to understand a bit more about the places they visit (while having a laugh along the way). In addition to my two guiding qualifications (City of London and Camden Guide) I have a first in Classics and History from Oxford University: I was a Management Consultant at McKinsey and Co: and I used to work as a stand-up comedian. This gives me a unique blend of skills: I combine a love of genuine knowledge and insight with the ability to communicate this in a highly entertaining way. My tours focus on history, culture, buildings and sites. I cover all aspects of London's 2, 000 year history, from the Romans who founded it up to the present day when finance, commerce and entertainment dominate.
