I would recommend Ismail as your guide in Ephesus. We experienced so much for a city that we did not even knew existed. We visited Blessed Virgin Mary's home, drank the healing water, saw the ruins and then Ismail surprised us with a leather shop stop which had a runway fashion show. We ended up with a leather jacket each (soft lamb leather, water proof, reversable, cost friendly-how could you go wrong) - the whole experience was amazing. Turkey has very strict guidelines for their tour guides so all have approximately the same knowledge base, it is how the information is presented which matters. Ismail was on point, we were very happy with the outcome of the day.

Ismail did an absolutely phenomenal job with our tour to Ephesus. He was well aware that we had 2 elderly people in our party and made sure to help minimize their need for physical exertion especially in the heat. The sites were amazing, and he was so personable and explained everything in great detail to us. Our lunch was at a great local restaurant, and the tour was one of the best we have ever been on.
