Denizhan led us on a personalalized, informative, fast paced tour that left us feeling amazed and educated in the ancient political and religious history, as well as the culture of Ephesus and Kusadasi. Bonuses were the mountain town of Seinche, and our authentic buffet lunch along the way, and eating fresh figs that Denizhan bought while on our walk through the village market. Be aware of the sales pressure at the pottery & rug shops; maybe skip these. We would recommend Denizhan as your guide!!

Denizhan gave us a very nice and informative tour of Ephesus, providing a great deal of information about the various sites and the life of people in this area...both past and present. And he brought us to a terrific restaurant for lunch. The car was excellent, as was the driver. Strongly recommend!

Denizhan is an excellent guide, sharing his extreme knowledge of the history and culture of the areas surrounding Kusadasi and Ephesus. We stopped at a ceramics factory, and rug making shop to learn the history and watch demonstrations at both. Denizhan walked with us through Ephesus, explaining the village, Terraces houses and temples throughout. It is amazing that only 10% of the city is currently excavated. A tour not to be missed, excellent!

The best tour guide I have ever had. He was fluent in colloquial English. It was like spending a day with 3 of the best faculty at any US University all wrapped into one very nice person - a Religious studies, historian and Latin/Greek scholar. The tour was informative, and he encouraged all types of questions. He took us to a local village to experience "real" life there and he arranged a delicious dinner with a family who opened for us alone. A great experience. And it was reasonably priced. David E.

Your Kusadasi tour itinerary

-Boarding your vehicle at the port of Kusadasi, drive eastwards to Selcuk Town. -En-route see the cotton fields, olive groves, and pine forests while driving along the blue Aegean shores. -Your first stop will be The Temple of Artemis, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. -Continue to Ephesus where you start at the Magnesia Gate and walk downhill through the city. Your guide will point out the sights, bringing the history of Ephesus to life as you pause at the Odeon, Upper Agora, Town Hall, Fountain of Trajan, Temple of Hadrian, and Domitianus, Memmius Memorial, Roman Baths, Terrace Houses, and the extraordinary Library of Celsus. -At the end of a marble street leading from the library, gaze up at the impressive theater, built to seat 24. 000 people. Here St. Paul preached to Ephesians. -Afterward proceed to the quaint Village of Kirazli. Return back to Kusadasi.
