You will discover important ancient structures of Ephesus, as open air museum. Then, you have only chance the see original 2000 years old Mosaics and Frescos in the beautiful Private house of Ephesus, called as Terrace Houses. Finally, you have chance to see well preserved statues and artifacts of Ephesus in the Ephesus Museum. Such as Statues of Goddess Artemis, and more. Also we have chance to see some local handicrafts. Actually, many ruins of Ephesus used as recycle material by other civilazitons and local people to build their houses or structures. I like share their stories as your storyteller!
Your Kusadasi tour itinerary
- I will meet with you in front of Main Gate of the Kusadasi port or at your hotel in Kusadasi. (If you are staying in Selcuk, there is no supplement, but If you staying in Izmir or Bodrum please let me know). - We will drive to Ephesus for 20-25 minutes. - First of all, we will visit to Ephesus - one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. We will see the Odeon, Celsus Library, Hadrian's Temple, Latrines, Great Theater of Ephesus and beautiful terrace houses for rich people and decorated many Mosaicss and Frescos. Our Ephesus visit is approxx. 2 and half hours, but I am flexible to stay in Ephesus more). - Enjoy the scenery and shopping opportunities. Such as leather goods. - In the afternoon, we will visit the Ephesus Museum, where they are exhibiting many artefacts in it, for 30-45 minutes. - Finally, We will visit the Temple of Artemis. - Afterwards drive back to Kusadası Port or Kusadasi/Selçuk Hotel. Please note this tour can be customized.
