Hello travelers, I grew up with the idea of exploring the world. Before becoming a licensed tour guide I traveled a lot, worked in a cruise ship in the USA, walked Camino de Santiago French and Portuguese trails in Europe, visited every single museum in small towns, watched musicals, theaters, enchanted with art and history, experienced corporate business life for about 11 years, studied International Relations and astrology along with tour guiding. I met people from all around the world, some(eg Kiribati Republic) that I have never heard of before. My passion for exploring always continued with people, my inner self and now with my city. I welcome you to my hometown, am ready to share the history, culture, art, customs, food, life style and many more gems of it. Please keep in mind that it's always a different experience with each guest. So meeting is going to be exciting to me as well as it is to you :) Should you have any request for a customized tour please inquire for a quote. *Licensed tour guide, approved by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. A great artist, called as the 'Turkish Michelangelo', built more than 400 works including bridges, ships, mosques, baths, schools, tombs, aqueducts, yet never was allowed to call himself "divine" as his contemporaries in Europe. The great mind, with the knowledge of high mathematics and geometry, built the most solid structures which were never defeated with the force of nature. He never repeated himself, always thought of the big picture within the landscape of Istanbul. Are you ready to be amazed by his works? If yes, let's explore together! P. S I can meet you at the port and drop you off. It would take an extra half hour for the roundtrip with tram which is the fastest and easiest way.
* Meet at the courtyard of Suleymaniye Mosque * Visit the toms of Sultan Suleyman and his wife Hurrem Sultan. * Visit Sehzade Mehmet Mosque /tomb/madrasah * break for a local beverage (only in autumn and winter) * take the tram to Sultanahmet square * Visit Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque * See Hurrem Sultan Bath and Hagia Sophia from outside * End of the tour
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
we'll use public transportation (tram).
