Overview of your Istanbul tour
In the first day we explore the both continents and live like locals. In the second day we focus on religious heritage. Day 1: Starting at Taksim Square, the heart of Istanbul, we stroll along Istiklal Street, passing churches and former embassies that reflect the city's rich history. Taking a historic underground funicular, we reach the pier and board a public boat to the Asian side. Kadikoy welcomes us with its vibrant atmosphere, offering delicious street food. We embark on another boat to Constantinople to the Spice Bazaar, we taste the finest Turkish Delight under aromatic essence of diverse spices. Day 2: Discover Istanbul's religious treasures in a luxury van. Visit Suleymaniye Mosque, the stunning Chora Church with its exquisite mosaics and explore Balat's Jewish district. Witness the sacred Church of St. George and the famous Iron Church. Experience history and modernity in Galata Tower Neighborhood.

This is the best experience if you have previously visited the old city. Day 1: (Walking & public transportation) - Taksim Square (Heart of the Local Life) - Istiklal Street (35-min walk) (Pera District) - "Tunel" - 2nd oldest funicular - Boat to Asian Side (25-min) - Kadikoy - Heart of the Asian Side (Great Street Food) - Boat to Constantinople (20-min) - Spice Bazaar Day 2: (Luxury van) - Suleymaniye Mosque (The Magnificent) - Chora Church (closed on Fridays) - Golden Horn - Balat (Former Jewish District) - Fener (Church of St. George: the main patriarchate of the Orthodox World) - Galata Neighborhood BEST ITINERARY FOR THE CRUISE AND CITY TRIP TRAVELERS. LOCAL LIFE AND RELIGIOUS HERITAGE. * There is a dress code to visit mosques. * Lunch/coffee break upon request. *I can purchase tickets in advance to skip lines. If you prefer using your credit card on-site, expect long waits. ***Museum closures may require swapping Day 1 and Day 2 activities. ***Each day will last 7 hours.
