Well, If you think you will have a lecturer for a day you are very much mistaken. We will be exchanging ideas not only on history but also on traditions, current events, religion, politics and cuisine of this charming city. Tons of interesting questions needs to be answered along the way such as how did the so famous Spoonmaker's Diamond end up in the Topkapı Palace ? Hagia Sophia, definitely the best of the best, is beyond words but I promise I will do my best ! Grand Bazaar, the oldest covered market in the world needs a local company. - Meet at the Hotel/Port or agreed spot in the city - First stop will be Highlights of Topkapi Palace (Closed on Tuesdays-Spice Market will be visited instead) - Next visit will be the Hagia Sophia - Lunch in a Local Restaurant - Visit to the Basilica Cistern (Blue Mosque might be visited instead) - Grand Bazaar (Closed on Sundays) - Concluding the day at the Hotel/Port or agreed spot in the city. Please note that traffic is very heavy in Istanbul. For a quicker way to and from the port, the tram can take us from the port to the old city in 4 stops.
