Max 5 hrs Byzantine & Roman historical & Cultural Tour at old city, Sultanahmet

This is the tour of Byzantines & Romans history and culture. We will start at Hipodromme, starting with Byzantium, then New Rome and then Constantinopolis. We will end up at Conquest 1453. We will talk about attacks happened to the city, crusaders , declarations and politics of that time. Paganisim and Christianity will come along. We will harmonize everything together in its monument such as hippodrome, mosaic museum, Hagia sophia and Basillica cistern. Finally the largest ancient market in the world; Grand bazaar. It is a walking tour with your private guide.

Meeting at your hotel at 10:00 am (we can meet at a certin place in old city). Starting tour. Visits are: -Hipodromme (race course of Romans) - Hagia Sophia: Grand church of Byzantines, imperial mosque of Ottomans and grand mosque of Republic of Turkey. -- Basillica cistern or Serefiye cistern -- Lunch break in the same area. It can be arranged upon request. After lunch break; - A cultural presentation: Great and unique handcraft of nomad turks; "Weaving" at a 400 yrs old structure of Ottoman period " a Cerevanserai ". - Grand bazaar: The largest ancient market in the world with 4000 stores. - End of tour around 4 pm.
