Selamlar! Welcome to Istanbul, the city of Empires! My name is Uğur, born and raised in this city. As Napoleon once said: ''If the earth were a single state, Istanbul would be its capital'' I live with my pretty wife Rose our daughter Defne and Archie, our cat. I'm a huge cinema fan, I watched almost all of the cult films. I studied Spanish Language and Literature at University of Istanbul. After my graduation I took an intense course of tourism guidance regulated by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture in 2012. So, I've been working as a licensed guide ever since. I've been guiding escorted tours all around Turkey (Ankara, Cappadocia, Antalya, Ephesus, Troy etc. ) and also do private city tours. Istanbul is one of the few cities in the world divided into two continents. Once capital of Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire (Eastern Roman) and Ottoman Empire, Istanbul is vast in history. I can't wait to share my knowledge with you! Apart from my job I myself also love travelling, trying new tastes, discovering new places, getting to know different cultures and people that's why I'm aware of expectations of a traveller.
