Want to get away from the touristic paths and see how locals live in the city? Wander around the streets and witness how the city is old and new at the same time? Accompany locals on their journeys during the day? Then this tour is just for you. We will eat, drink and explore the city as the locals do!
Your Istanbul tour itinerary
We will meet and start our day with a traditional Turkish breakfast. Enjoy Turkish style eggs, traditional dishes, cheese, spreads and jams from different regions of the country; accompanied by a glass of freshly brewed Turkish tea and a fun conversation about food, lifestyle and life in general. Then we'll start exploring the neighborhoods. Walk around in the streets, see how the old and the new is mixing each other in buildings, stores and people! We'll pick among the lovely neighborhoods of Istanbul and then we'll either take a ferry or a tram to get to the neighborhood we would like to explore (could be on the Asian side or European side). We will walk around the old streets, see historic monuments and mansions from the Ottoman times. And do not forget about Turkish Coffee of course! We'll finish at a local coffee house with a tasty Turkish coffee. Note: If you wish to start the tour at a later hour, late breakfast is available, but we may also do a local lunch or tastings at different locations.
