You have a very limited time but still want to get the most of Istanbul. Don't worry because I prepared a comprehensive two days tour for you. As Napoleon once said if the whole world was only one state, Istanbul would be its capital. In this 2 days tour I will have plenty of time to prove him right. Sometimes we will discover the highlights of the city and other times we will find ourselves in the most crowded streets and bazaars of Istanbul or while taking the fresh air of Bosphorus. This city is very diverse in terms of culture and history. Istanbul witnessed the fall of two empires and both glorious and miserable days of emperors. There will be a lot to talk but also a lot of time to mention about most of these. A city like this of course can not be discovered without walking. I suggest you to prepare your most comfortable shoes and also your camera in order not to miss the opportunity to make your moments immortal in this marvelous city.
We were in Istanbul as a couple and had the most wonderful two days with Duygu. It was relaxed and informative and yet we did a lot on the two half days we spent. Despite very hot weather we were motivated to keep going and would highly recommend this tour and doing it with Duygu. Two fantastic days with Duygu! The communication leading up to our tour was very good. She even provided information and referrals for a different location, later in our trip. We saw all the highlights, along with a few opportunities to just soak up the local culture. She was helpful in identifying quality stores for shopping and in guiding us in negotiations. The pace was perfect, the restaurant choices for lunch were delicious and we really enjoyed our time with Duygu. We highly recommend booking with Duygu!
Duygu deserves 6 stars. She may be the best guide we have ever experienced and we have enjoyed many excellent guides in many countries. Her knowledge is of course is extensive. The itinerary was perfect, visiting not only the highlights but also experiencing the local life of Istanbul while timing stops to avoid long lines. Best of all was her personable nature.
