Half Day Istanbul Tour By Exclusive Van - Quality Makes The Difference!

We had a phenomenal experience with our private guide, Atakan, during a short port stop in Istanbul. When you only have a few hours to see a city like this, you need a guide who is organized, efficient, and reliable—and Atakan delivered on every front. He was incredibly responsive and easy to coordinate with via messages before our arrival. On the day of the tour, he was right outside the port exit, holding a clear sign, making the meeting process absolutely seamless. Knowing we were pressed for time, Atakan maximized every moment. He expertly navigated us to the must-see highlights: the magnificent Blue Mosque, the atmospheric Basilica Cistern, and a vibrant local Bazaar. The added convenience of having a driver arranged to take us directly to the airport after the tour was the perfect ending to our day.

Our guide was on time and was extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about Turkey history from him. However, we were disappointed when he finished our 4hr tour 45 minutes early. I was under the impression we were going elsewhere but he dropped us off at the cruise and left.

Atakan is a very knowledgeable and informative guide. He listened to my questions and was able to give me a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Türkiye. He was so helpful with my mobility challenges, taking us to the closest point by car to walk through the Hippodrome through to the Basilica Cistern. He was also very patient with my friend who was tired and therefore not as interested as I was. I appreciate his flexibility, kindness, and interest in making sure I learned so much.

While the palace was certainly impressive, My personal favorite was a visit to the Spice Market (Egyptian Bazaar) where, thanks to Atakan Ceyhan, we feasted on dried fruits and Turkish delights and purchased many delicacies. Atakan was knowledgeable and more importantly patient. When it started to rain we took shelter while Atakan ran to a street vendor and got us all umbrellas. What a guy.
