Hello, My name is Necdet, I am a Private Guide that offers Private tours all over Istanbul and Turkey. I enjoy traveling and discovering new places. In particular, I have a special attention to the history of civilizations. So, I've traveled to many ancient cities in Turkey . I decided to study in guiding tour department. Because Turkey is one of the most historicial country in the world. We call this beautiful country, 'Cradle of Civilizations' I was graduated from the University of Balikesir in 2006 and finished my course of training in Antalya. I got my guiding licence from ministry of culture and tourism in 2008. Firstly I worked in southern coast of Turkey. Here, there are a lot of ancient cities and ruins like Side, Aspendos, Perge, Phalises. There are many natural beauties like high mountains , waterfalls , rivers and caves. I like this beautiful city Antalya. But my favorite is the historic city of Istanbul. That is why I moved to Istanbul. I have been guiding in Istanbul since 2008 it was the capital of two great civilizations. Eastern Roman(Byzantine) and Ottoman empires. You can see the deep traces of the two civilizations in istanbul city. I like to share my cultural and historicial informations with my guests. it is my favorite to discover hidden and old places and prepare some specific informations for my guests. I have guided more than thousand people. I know what people wants during their travel. so I attach importance to be on time in meeting point and make my tours more flexible than regular tours and choose the best and local foods and local bazaars. Istanbul was the capital of Roman Empire and Ottoman Empire which's located between Asia and Europe, Many battles happened among civilizations to conquer this beautiful city because of commercial and strategic importance. I would like to share my knowledge with my guests. • HAGIA SOFIA was the oldest cathedral dates 6th century , converted into a mosque in 1453. but preserved all admirable mosaics. • BASILICA CISTERN was built as a biggest water reservoir in Constantinople in 537 A. D. with amazing head of Medusa. • TOPKAPI PALACE was built as a house of Sultans and dominated all empire from council for 400 years. It's enjoyable to see exhibitions of empire and listen stories of harem • BLUE MOSQUE , an impressive mosque with blue tiles, paint and architectural details as well. • ROMAN HIPPODROME • GRAND BAZAAR, Let me share my knowledge about history, culture, handcraft, religion, architecture, secrets , food, etc

Necdet was fabulous - prompt at meeting us at the hotel and kept us on point all day. He was extremely knowledgeable of Istanbul's and Turkey's history. We were a group of 7 and he kept us all focused and we did a whirlwind tour in 8hrs - totally flexible on our site/shopping visits aswell - he was able to use his "Licensed Tourist Guide" experience to expedite lines. Necdet was a good guide. He wasn't as out going as others we've used and was very soft spoken. Combined with English that was a tiny bit hard to understand I can't give him 5 stars. But he was really knowledgeable. And he asked everyone individually if they had questions. He was also more than willing to discuss anything we threw at him. Very nice guy and he aimed to please. And beautiful eyes (although I know that doesn't matter). :-)
