Eat, visit, experience like a local

Mine was a kind and knowledgeable guide. We had a fantastic morning with her - she left us with our heads brimming with all the historical context, extra details and insights she had given us on the all the sights we visited. As well as the big hitting sights, she pointed out lots of other points of interest as we walked, things we would have missed the significance of. She was expert in navigating the bazaars. We were also introduced to many local places with the opportunity to try different foods - all delicious - again things we would have missed if we had just been by ourselves. The other bonus was being able to skip most of the queuing to get into ticketed places. We haven’t paid for a guide before but Mine showed us the value of having a local guide to make the most of visiting such a spectacular city. Thank you Mine!

We covered a lot of ground and learned quite a bit about Turkish food and mosque architecture. We like walking and are fit but this is not a tour for anyone who is not able and energetic.

Mine T. was a great guide! I highly recommend her; she was very knowable, and resourceful. She was able to improvise a great tour, when I suddenly told her I had already seen several sites normally on her tout.

Mine is knowledgeable, on time, flexible, enthusiastic and she has lots of fun place to stop. We saw a great deal of the city in our 9 mile walk.

We can't recommend Mine highly enough. From the moment we met to the reluctant parting all the promised hours and the walked miles later she was engaging, patient, generous and clearly determined to ensure we enjoyed our day in Istanbul. No question was left unanswered and she led us to places we would never have found without her and her well researched knowledge. If you want to see Istanbul from a different perspective but still see the 'tick list' spots then ask for Mine.
