This is a panoramic tour, so no entrances are previewed. We'll do most of the areas by foot as cars are not allowed. We will only take a private vehicle to get to our destinations.

Best of Valencia: 4 Hours private excursion

Start by enjoying a panoramic tour to "La Malvarrosa" beach and the America's cup area. Continue by admiring the City of Arts and Science designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. One of my favourites areas whe I was a child.

Once in the city center, admire buildings like the: Colon Market, the bullring or the town hall. Start the walking tour visiting the Silk Exchange bulding (XVth century). It was one of the main buildings of Valencia during Spanish golden age. Everybody loves this site!

Walk to the Mercado Central, which as well as being a masterpiece of Modernist design.

This walking tour continue with Plaza Redonda, this particular "circular" square.

End with a panoramic view of the Cathedral, Admire its mixture of Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque styles, and finally we will arrive to the Virgin square the most important religious square.

Sant Josep Caves and Other Highlights of Valencian Region - Full Day Tour

Embark on a marvelous day tour outside Valencia and crowds. Today you will visit some of the most impressive attractions and places north of Valencia. You will start the day with a must, St Josep Caves. Get on a private mini-van with your driver-local guide and visit this amazing karst monument.
Since Upper Palaeolithic, humans had contact with this caves and several scientists, such as the Valencian Cavanilles, a botanist and naturist, talked about it in his work. But, it was in the 1920's when the caves opened to visitors. In the tour you will take a boat and ride the longest navigable underground river. Then continue the visit walking admiring the grottos and the stalactites and stalagmites around.

Half Day Highlights of Albufera Lagoon from Valencia

Visit the heart of Valencia's gastronomy and a unique Natural Park in Spain, Albufera (Lagoon). Today you will discover the waterland were the rice (for the famous Paella) is grown and local fauna have created their own space. Albufera was declared in 1986 Natural Park in Valencia. Albufera seems magic while sailing on the lake. Albufera is the smell of paella cooked over a wood fire. Albufera are my memories as a child discovering the birds flying over the rice fields.
The day will start visiting the bird observatory where, is possible (depends on the year time) to see flamingos, herons, storks or different kind of ducks. Some live there the whole year, but others just came to the lagoon to pair.

Then you will learn about the rice and the local culture and traditions. Embark on a boat to do a tour on the lagoon, we will pass by some rice fields. Visit a typical "Barraca" (local farmers house) and conclude the Tour savoring a traditional valencian meal and paella (meal included).

It's time to leave the city and learn about 2 of the most important Spanish products all over the world, Wine and Olive Oil.
Travel to Utiel-Requena Wine Region, one of the more than 60 Wine Appelations we have in Spain. Well known for Bobal variety, this region about 700 meters above sea level is the most important in Valencia. During this tour you will learn about the wine history of Spain (yes, maybe you laugh now, but since the Phoenecians 3000 years ago we have vines, wine and wineries at the Iberian Peninsula). Learn about the process and do several tastings to identify the local flavours and aromas.
The day will start with a drive from Valencia on a private mini-van. On the way you will learn about the history, culture and geography of Requena. Visit an Olive Oil Mill in an Organic Farm and do a tasting, then continue to visit a local winery and learn about the wine making process while tasting the tasty wines. You will visit a second winery and the charming town of Requena where you will have lunch.
