Hola! I was born in Valencia and lived here until I completed my Bachelor's in Art. I have spent half of my adult life in between Valencia and Northern Europe, in UK and Finland. I discovered my passion for guiding while I was living in Helsinki, and carried out guiding in my home town too. I have to confess that the love to my city has dragged me back here, to the South. The Mediterranean way of life, the light, the people and the city of Valencia are worth to be enjoyed every minute, and I would like to share this wonderful city with you! I am a researcher, photographer and teacher for seniors. I'm in absolute love with Art, Design and Architecture, and I also enjoy hearing all the stories that every city has to offer, and see and understand how time shapes residents and neighbourhoods. Most of my free days are spent by reading or exploring around. I've been in the Tourism business for over 14 years now, and living in different countries makes me understand international travellers, your needs and interests. I am used to be with all kinds of travellers, from politicians, artists or tv journalists to teenagers or families. I like to keep my tours as ecological as possible, green tourism and low foot print is my goal. So small/walking groups are my favourite and what I hope to provide. Lets get together and discover Valencia! 2013- Studies in Tourism - Helmi Business School - Helsinki, Finland 1999-2001 Photography and media at Brighton and Hove Art College, UK 1999 - Bachelor in Arts - Faculty of Fine Arts - Valencia, Spain No restrictions.

During our tour, we will get a real good look at the city centre of Valencia. You'll have the chance to see inside the Valencian Cathedral to see the incredible secrets it holds, such as the Holy Grail! We'll also be able to enter the Silk Exchange building, a UNESCO Heritage since 1996 and one of Valencia's Gothic jewels. This building, also called "La Lonja", has some interesting and disturbing decor, from the facade gargoyles to the details on its inside, it's surely not to be missed. Both the Cathedral and the La Lonja are stunning and full of legends & stories, many from Valencia's golden era; the XV century. Since we will be walking across the town's oldest area, history will be easily understood, going from the Roman Empire era to the 20th Century in no time! Valencia's old quarters are very compact. We'll stroll for a couple hours along flat ground, and by entering through the main gate of the city, we'll discover small cozy squares, and both quiet streets and very lively quarters.
·Once we've met at the Gothic Torres the Serranos, one of the gates used to welcome visitors into Valencia, we'll start strolling along charming narrow streets until we reach the Basilica and the Generalitat building where Valencian Government meets regularly. ·Afterwards, we'll go into the Cathedral, where we'll come across art from Francisco de Goya, considered to be the most renowned Spanish artist of the late 1700s. ·We'll then walk through the Round Square until we reach the market area. ·On arrival, we'll go inside the Silk Exchange Building (La Lonja) and admire the beautiful details it showcases. ·La Lonja happens to be located right where the vibrant Central market still stands, where our tour will end, so you'll be able to go inside the biggest indoor market in Spain and spoil your senses with the amazing food and local products you come across! This itinerary could be customized upon request.
