Hola! I was born in Valencia and lived here until I completed my Bachelor's in Art. I have spent half of my adult life in between Valencia and Northern Europe, in UK and Finland. I discovered my passion for guiding while I was living in Helsinki, and carried out guiding in my home town too. I have to confess that the love to my city has dragged me back here, to the South. The Mediterranean way of life, the light, the people and the city of Valencia are worth to be enjoyed every minute, and I would like to share this wonderful city with you! I am a researcher, photographer and teacher for seniors. I'm in absolute love with Art, Design and Architecture, and I also enjoy hearing all the stories that every city has to offer, and see and understand how time shapes residents and neighbourhoods. Most of my free days are spent by reading or exploring around. I've been in the Tourism business for over 14 years now, and living in different countries makes me understand international travellers, your needs and interests. I am used to be with all kinds of travellers, from politicians, artists or tv journalists to teenagers or families. I like to keep my tours as ecological as possible, green tourism and low foot print is my goal. So small/walking groups are my favourite and what I hope to provide. Lets get together and discover Valencia! 2013- Studies in Tourism - Helmi Business School - Helsinki, Finland 1999-2001 Photography and media at Brighton and Hove Art College, UK 1999 - Bachelor in Arts - Faculty of Fine Arts - Valencia, Spain No restrictions.

This tour is a great choice if you have a busy day planned but still want to acquire a deep knowledge of the old town's gems and enjoy a light and easy guided experience. It is recommended especially if you want to have some free time in city centre or explore a market there afterwards. We will walk across the oldest area in town and stop in the most iconic and picturesque spots. History can be understood easily as we walk from the Roman Empire era to the 20th Century in no time! Valencia's old quarters are very compact. We will stroll for a couple of hours along flat ground in a small area with very restricted traffic, where there are so many beautiful buildings and history to go through! One of them, The Silk exchange, is a UNESCO Heritage since 1996 and one of Valencia's Gothic jewels. The Valencian centre has been one of my favourite areas to be around since I was small, so I'm genuinely excited to show you around it.
·Our day together starts after meeting at the Gothic Torres the Serranos, one of the Gates that was used to welcome visitors into the city. ·From there we'll walk through lovely narrow streets towards the Cathedral area, were we will also see the Basilica and the Generalitat building where Valencian Government meets regularly. ·We'll then walk next to the Cathedral, which is full of secrets and nice stories that I'll share with you. ·Next, we'll see Ancient Rome's underground city exhibits. ·Afterwards, we will be heading towards one of the most beautiful facades and places of the city: The Marques de Dos aguas, today the Ceramic Museum. ·Next stop will be the market area (passing through the Round square) where the Silk exchange building is located, and the vibrant Central market is still standing. We will finish the tour in this square. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
