¡Bon dia! I’m Juan, a proud Valencian born and raised here, and someone who genuinely loves showing my city in a personal and authentic way. My passion for history started at a young age, especially the story of Valencia and all the cultures that shaped it, from the Romans who founded the city, to the Muslim heritage and the Christian traditions we still live today. That curiosity eventually led me to study History and Geography at UNED, and later become a licensed tour guide. But beyond my studies, what really shaped me was both living away from home and traveling extensively. I spent time living in Coventry and Madrid, which helped me become more open-minded and comfortable connecting with people from different backgrounds. At the same time, traveling frequently made me realize something very important: nobody wants to feel like just another tourist or a number. What people really look for is to experience a place in a more authentic and local way, and that’s exactly what I try to offer in my tours. For the past 3 years, I’ve been working as a private guide, mostly with travelers from the US and Canada. I speak English and French fluently, and I specialize in small, private experiences that are flexible and tailored to each group. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” tours. Some people want history, others food, others hidden places… most want a bit of everything. So I adapt. We can explore the historic center, discover local neighborhoods, enjoy nature outside the city, visit wineries, or even sail along the coast, always at your pace, and always with a personal touch. My goal is simple: that you don’t feel like you’re taking a tour, but like you’re discovering Valencia with a local who truly cares about your experience. If you’re looking for something more exclusive, flexible, and authentic than a standard tour, I’d be happy to show you my Valencia. See you soon!
