Welcome! My name is Benito. I am Spanish; born in Tarragona, a city of great cultural interest founded in Roman times, and I grew up in Valencia, where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Art History. In 2014, I moved to Finland, where I lived for eight years. During my stay in the Nordic country, I had time to obtain my bus driver's license, Finnish nationality, and the title of official guide, allowing me to develop my work both in Helsinki and Valencia. I have always been passionate about art, architecture, geography, and history, as well as the curious events of life. For that reason, I chose to work as a guide, since it is a job that brings together all my passions. I have been working as a tour guide since 2020, first in Helsinki and now in Valencia since 2022. I would be happy to show you this beautiful city. If you have any special requests, the tour can be adapted to your expectations. As I already mentioned, Valencia is the place where I grew up. Its extensive gastronomy, charming streets in the city center, the amalgamation of cultures that have shaped it since its foundation in 138 B.C., its beaches, and its more than 300 sunny days make the terraces fill with people enjoying drinks or food, giving the city a bustling and dynamic character that makes it a perfect place to spend the holidays. The guided tours I provide are safe, I continuously encourage interactions so that travellers feel comfortable asking any questions that may arise. Our paths would be either on foot or by bicycle whenever possible, minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, all our routes will be complemented with curiosities, anecdotes, and additional information about all the remarkable things we encounter along the way. I assure you that you will leave with a greater understanding of the city, the country, the culture, and its people. Are you ready to discover Valencia? Let’s go! 2020 - Certificate in Professional Qualification in Guiding Services - Perho Business School, Helsinki, Finland 2011 - Five-year Degree in Art History - Universidad de Valencia, Spain

Discover the hidden side of Valencia — a lesser-known region with a deep wine tradition. Surrounded by vineyards and ancient caves turned into charming wineries, this area offers an authentic experience. Learn wine tasting secrets and explore the cultivation and production process in a breathtaking natural setting, perfect for unwinding. The landscape changes with the seasons, painting the vineyards in stunning colors. Pago de Tharsys winery offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in wine history and the vineyard landscape. Explore organic vineyards, learn about grape varieties, vine cycles, and sustainable practices. Visit the winemaking cellar, underground cava, and maturation areas with a full explanation from harvest to disgorging. The experience ends with a guided tasting of three select wines or cavas, paired with artisanal local cured meats—a true celebration of wine, gastronomy, and culture.
