Welcome to Valencia! I was born and raised between the city center and the countryside. After traveling and working in international tourism for over twenty years, I now bring my expertise back to my home region. This is the most meaningful place in the world to me and I hope to share it with you. I work hard to take the stress out of travel for you. I will handle the details so you can relax and enjoy the beauty and culture that Valencia has to offer. I believe I could help you get behind the surface and point out the cultural subtleties to match your individual interests. Squeeze the culture and live it together! As part of my tourism university degree program, I met people from all over the world. My studies allowed me to have extended stays in Greece, Ireland and Italy. I got to explore many places of natural beauty & history, and the best part was being with people living a slower pace of life. Each stay I learned the true meaning of hospitality through the generosity of the locals. I started developing a will to share my culture with you with the same generous spirit. In 2012 I started working as a professional tour leader for a certified B Corporation travel company. During my 10 seasons with this international company I got to lead trips in Morocco, France, Portugal , Italy & Spain, among other countries. I have run dozens of tours (Barcelona to Berlin, Paris to Marrakech, Marrakech to Barcelona, Barcelona to Rome...) As a leader I shared my local knowledge of all these countries and their different cities, led regular city walks as well cycling, kayaking, trekking & all sorts of experiences. I became very curious about the touristic potential of all these cities, and studied their local gastronomy & culture. I have been on hundreds of walking guided tours all around the world, professionally and as a tourist.I know what works and have taken the best from these trips to create my own. I have many happy clients from all over the world. Valencia is a very eclectic Mediterranean city, a very comfortable city to live in. It's quite active culturally & has great gastronomical offerings, we are “paella” birthcity! From walking around its ancient roman remains, visiting its “Sixtine” chapel or checking out the Holy Grail to cycling the old Turia river bed to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the sightseeing is endless. Down south from the city there is an “Albufera” , a magnificent coastal lagoon surrounded by rice fields which are part of one of the largest suburban vegetable gardens in Europe. Up north, the Calderona mountains hide very interesting Iberian settlements & charming small towns. I have showed the city to thousands of people, professionally and for fun. My favorite part of tourism is sharing connections to the people and environment. If you are searching for something you don’t see, let's talk. I am very flexible and an expert at adjusting based on interest, ability and time. I would like to help light up the city's history and bring it to life for you. Together we will experience authentic gastronomy, architecture, and traditions you can only find in Valencia. Come and experience the beautiful contrasts and complexity that is my homeland. My goal is to help you relax and experience the best of Valencia! “carpe diem & nocte”!

Hola! I am a passionate Valencian and official tour guide. I’d love to take you on a unique walking tour through Valencia during its most iconic celebration: Fallas. Every March, Valencia transforms into a vibrant open‑air museum filled with towering artistic monuments, music and fireworks. Fallas is a UNESCO‑recognized festival that blends satire, craftsmanship, and community spirit, culminating in days of color, sound and emotion. Discover the city and its festivities through the eyes of a local, we’ll visit two of the most renowned Special Section Fallas, stroll through the historic silk‑makers’ quarter, and learn all about the traditional fallera dresses—along with many other fascinating aspects of this incredible fiesta. We’ll stop at a local spot to enjoy the seasonal treat of pumpkin and flower fritters—buñuelos—dipped in thick hot chocolate. Our walk ends at the City Hall Square, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, just in time for the spectacular 14:00 firecracker show, the mascletà.
Our route will be as follows: - Estación del Norte - Falla Convento Jerusalén - Falla Plaza del Pilar - Plaza Ayuntamiento Kindly notice this tour is only available from March 15th to March 19th, 2027 . As with every ToursByLocals tour, this is of course customisable. Please contact me using the orange “message guide” button to discuss this.
