Pilanesberg Nature Reserve - Full Day Safari Tour from Johannesburg

On this full day safari, we're going to explore the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, where over 7. 000 animals roam freely. You'll have the chance to encounter the famous Big 5 gamedrive animals (elephants, rhinos, leopards, buffalos and lions), while you enjoy going around nature extensively with a specialized guide. You'll also enjoy a delicious lunch! Book this tour if you want to encounter animals such as zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, jackals, antelopes and over 300 species of birds! During the heat of the day, we'll sit down for an hour-long delectable lunch at one of the many rest camps in the reserve. After lunch, we'll depart on an afternoon safari drive where you'll get to ask your guide any last questions you might have about the local animals and their natural environment. You should know I started my tour guide career as a nature guide and have worked on several reserves. Most of my initial education as a tour guide was dedicated to nature.

-Our day will start with an early morning pick-up from your hotel. Since you will miss breakfast due to how early the pickup will be, it would be appropriate for you to arrange taking a pre-packed breakfast with you for in-car consumption. -We'll then venture on a scenic drive for approximately 2 hours until we reach our destination. -On arrival, we'll begin the game drive in Pilanesberg National Park. -Later in the morning, we will drive around one of the lakes in the park, to try and come across some of the species that will go there for water, especially bird life. -After approximately 4 hours of game drive, we'll have a delicious lunch in one of the reserve's rest camps. Vegetarian options are available! -After our lunch, we'll continue with the game drive for an extra hour in the afternoon. -At last, we'll return to Johannesburg, leaving you where you were originally picked up from.
