I am Tarun. I have been a driver/guide since 2008. I love traveling on my own and I understand well what traveller is seeking when traveling to a different city/country, specially when it comes to history/Nature and Architecture. I have been a guide in India since 2008 and became a guide/driver in Slovenia after meeting my wife in 2016. I never thought of leaving India as I love my work of showing people around India but Slovenian wife and Slovenia changed my mind. My interest has always been in places which are not so touristy and unexplored. Slovenia is a small country but time that I spend exploring this beautiful country gave me so much new knowledge about the country as well as it's beautiful people, nature, history, culture and traditions. I love meeting new people and talking about everything, my clients are only clients online once we are traveling together we become very good friends and I help you try lots of beautiful local food Slovenia has to offer. I am also into yoga practices so I also tell my friends about some basic practices that can help pain or calm mind ;) So you basically get a full package when booking a tour with me :) Looking forward to show you best of Slovenia. I have been rewarded by tripadvisor, couchsurfing multiple times for India and Slovenia. I am a professional yoga teacher as well I met my Slovenian wife on this course. Overview of your Ljubljana tour
In this tour I will show you some of the Slovenian part that is undiscovered by the tourists. I have been in this part many times with my own family and we all love it. Especially the small lake and a traditional Slovenian local restaurant right next to the lake with beautiful view of the lake and mountains as well as the reflection from the lake. This route usually takes about 6/7 hours as I will also show you the view of one of the most beautiful valley of Slovenia and if you are up for a 15/20 minutes of hike, I am very happy to show you the highest waterfall of Slovenia. You can also bring your swim suits as the last point of the tour will be one of the source of river with very nice and chilly water. This is very healthy and lots of us go there for a dip to refresh our senses. Let's enjoy the unique beauty of Slovenian nature.
Your Ljubljana tour itinerary
Normally I start the tour at 8am but its flexible. So please share if you wish to start at different timing. Highlights of the tour :- ◉ Meet and greet at agreed location ◉ Private transportation ◉ Passing small villages ◉ Visiting a waterfall (15/20 minutes walk) - You must have normal hiking shoes ◉ Visiting a lake with beautiful view ◉ Source of the river ◉ Local food at a traditional family restaurent (Not included in tour price) You can also bring your swim suits if you would like to swim.
