2 days tour in Slovenia

We'll be discovering some of the best locations Slovenia can offer: *fairy tale Bled *remote beauty of Bohinj *emerald river Soca You are free to choose any stops in between - a boat trip to the lake island, a castle with a breathtaking view, walking through a pristine alpine gorge with refreshing river cascades, or to the majestic waterfall high in the cliff. Rewarded museum and many remains of World war I may also be of interest to many. Note: mountain pass may be closed in winter Don't hesitate to combine any other day tour of Slovenia! - From Ljubljana we will reach Bled lake in about 3/4 hour, then Bohinj is 20 minutes away. = Besides the usual musts - transfer with a traditional wooden boat to the fabulous island & castle on top of the rock with probably the most wanted view of the country we may take a 1-hour walk into the once hidden gorge (Bled vintgar) featuring pristine alpine river. For the lunch, we shall try local cuisine in a typical "gostilna" on our way to Bohinj lake. It will be to decide there which waterfall to visit (1-hour walk) or to just take a cable car onto the ski resort with a view over the lake. Instead of returning to Ljubljana, you may overnight in one of the hotels/apartments there. This would make a more comfortable start to the next day when we shall drive over the mountain pass into the river Soca valley. Following the emerald river, we have several views stops to do and some walking, but also rafting/kayaking may be arranged.
