I am Tarun. I have been a driver/guide since 2008. I love traveling on my own and I understand well what traveller is seeking when traveling to a different city/country, specially when it comes to history/Nature and Architecture. I have been a guide in India since 2008 and became a guide/driver in Slovenia after meeting my wife in 2016. I never thought of leaving India as I love my work of showing people around India but Slovenian wife and Slovenia changed my mind. My interest has always been in places which are not so touristy and unexplored. Slovenia is a small country but time that I spend exploring this beautiful country gave me so much new knowledge about the country as well as it's beautiful people, nature, history, culture and traditions. I love meeting new people and talking about everything, my clients are only clients online once we are traveling together we become very good friends and I help you try lots of beautiful local food Slovenia has to offer. I am also into yoga practices so I also tell my friends about some basic practices that can help pain or calm mind ;) So you basically get a full package when booking a tour with me :) Looking forward to show you best of Slovenia. I have been rewarded by tripadvisor, couchsurfing multiple times for India and Slovenia. I am a professional yoga teacher as well I met my Slovenian wife on this course. I am not a licenced guide and I won't be able to guide inside of the historical buildings.

When I first went to the Postojna cave myself with my friends I found it amazing and it was my first big cave in my life and I was amazed to saw a toy train inside. I personally think that if you are coming to Slovenia you must add this cave tour to your bucket list since this place looks absolutely amazing and it's really big and riding on a truly unique toy train, and to feel the wind on your face as the train moves, and to feel the smell of the cave is so interesting, feels like taking you back in the time. The most interesting thing, for me, is how old this cave really is and how long it took for stalagmite to form. After the cave we will continue to visit Predjama castle, where we can stop for tea or coffee with the view of the castle, I will give you some nice information and tell you some interesting stories that I know of the castle. Let's have a great time!
Tarun turned out to be a very engaging chap and also a cricketer which eased conversation from the outset. He gave us an excellent tour to the Postojna Caves, which is something that all visitors to Ljubljana should see. Then, he took us to view the Predjama Castle, which is improbably built into the side of a cave in a mountain. We greatly enjoyed our hours in Tarun's company and recommend him to other visitors.
Tarun was an excellent guide, full of information, flexible and personable. The Cave itself is amazing and processes visitors efficiently; Tarun got us on the first tour before the crowds really began. The castle was also interesting to see, though not essential. We added a visit to Lake Bled to our day, which was well worth seeing. We will certainly hire Tarun again if we return to Ljubljana.
