Dear traveler! I love to connect with people and I am totally in love with our little sLOVEnia! ;) I live in Ljubljana, a small, lovely capital, where I finished my studies. I love foreign languages, history and nature and traveling has always been my greatest passion. My 28-year-long career as a local guide and trip leader has brought me into contact with travellers from all over the world, in several foreign languages. Besides that, in the past I lead Slovenian guests to different overseas countries. Slovenia is a small 'green patch' of Europe. It's the only country whose name contains the word 'love'. At your visit, you will see why. It's a small country of big beauty and full of small discoveries. Check out our national anthem, called 'Zdravljica' - 'The Toast' http://www. preseren. net/ang/3_poezije/13_zdravljica. asp) Traveling opens horizons, strenghtens torelance and makes people happier. That's what happens to me, when I travel myself. Therefore, when I guide, the hapiness of my guests is my primary goal. I've got a lot of experience in driving/guiding by car/van and safety is very important for me. I'm professional, knowledgeable, open, fun. . . and my guests often comment: 'your enthusiasm is contagious'. . . ;) I'll be very happy to help you in advance with your holiday planning , so your Slovenian experience will be trully unforgettable. "Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends. I love Bled lake, every time I visit it, I feel like in a fairytale. Bled is a trademark of Slovenian tourism and one of the most picturesque sites of the country. The setting is just incredible - a small clear-blue lake, an island with a small church in the middle, a medieval castle on a cliff just at the lake and the Julian Alps behind it. Bled is for nature and history lovers, for hikers and for those, who like to enjoy beautiful views and taste local specialities like a famous 'kremšnita' cake. The small town of Radovljica, just 10min away from Bled has a picturesque medieval old town and nice views. It's famous for beekeeping and local handicrafts. Radovljica lies on a terrace above a valley, where two Sava rivers meet and form the longest river on the Balkans. The views of the valley are stunning. . . and just a 1min walk from the towns picturesque medieval old town core.
It will take us about 45 min to get to Bled. - We will visit the castle on the cliff, with its 'million-dollar view and all its sites and secrets (a small and very interesting museum and some workshops, like a printing house as from the time of Gutenberg). - We can also visit a small island with St. Mary's church on it, by a typical 'Pletna' boat. We can ring the famous 'bell of wishes' on the island, drive around the lake, make several stops and take lots of postcard pictures. - We will enjoy in a walk along the lake, learn about numerous local fairytales and maybe taste some of the local goodies, like a famous 'kremšnita' cake. - After Bled we will take little country roads through picturesque little villages to a neighbouring lovely town of Radovljica, where we will enjoy in nice views and a well preserved medieval old town. - We will stroll the town and maybe taste some more of local goodies. The ride back to the hotel takes us 1/2 hour. This tour can be customized
