Secrets of Green Ljubljana - half day tour

Have you seen all the main attractions in Ljubljana and you would like to add on something different? Perhaps in the company of a true local? Join me on a tour of the green areas of the town and see where us locals go to find peaceful spots to enjoy nature and tranquility. We will visit the green parts of Ljubljanica river, Tivoli park, and for those most keen, we can walk to the Castle and Rožnik hills. We can stop for a snack or lunch if you get hungry on the way at a nice local spot I particularly like. If you would like to spare your legs, we can take Ljubljana's Urban electric train that will help us get around without worrying about our carbon footprints. You will learn all about Ljubljana's transition to becoming a more sustainable and green city and how it was awarded the title of Green Capital of Europe in 2016 and how that affected us locals. I want to share an insight into my life in the city and how it has changed since I was a kid, while showing you a great time and hidden gems of Ljubljana.
