Visit Slovenia attraction number one in a half a day. There is always good weather to go into a cave. . . a Queen of caves in this case. Not the biggest in the world and frankly, not even in this small country of 2 million people, anymore. Still, it's the most visited with over 39 million visitors over 200 years in business.

 A nearby legendary cave castle with a treasure is a bonus. Although I've seen travellers that preferred the castle actually. I'd just say it is like a cherry on the cake and yes there will be cherries in the story I will tell you along the way.

When I first went to the Postojna cave myself with my friends I found it amazing and it was my first big cave in my life and I was amazed to saw a toy train inside.

I personally think that if you are coming to Slovenia you must add this cave tour to your bucket list since this place looks absolutely amazing and it's really big and riding on a truly unique toy train, and to feel the wind on your face as the train moves, and to feel the smell of the cave is so interesting, feels like taking you back in the time.
The most interesting thing, for me, is how old this cave really is and how long it took for stalagmite to form.
