Ljubljana is my beloved city. Went to high school here, later went abroad to study and work, however, later I came back as a swallow bird to the nest, that can not be forgotten. I would like you to fall in love with my city. After the tour, you will get an insider view of the life in our capital today- a meeting point of many different European cultures. You will get familiar with our everyday habits: how does our day start, where do we get our fresh food, what our main sights are famous for, meet our architecture that answered to different influences, have a look of the city from a bird and a fish perspective . All that with a touch of history that created our culinary and us: while visiting we are going to taste our local food as well! Soon you will notice, that we are easy going, that making our lifestyle pleasant is one of our main preoccupations!
Your Ljubljana tour itinerary
All main attractions in the City Centre: Three Bridges, Preseren Square, Ljubljana Market, Dragon's Bridge, Castle, Town Hall, Cobblers Bridge, Boat Ride along Ljubljanica River, Old Town, New Square, Congress Square, Parlament, . . - we start with a walking sightseeing tour (1 hour) - enjoy our morning espresso at the local market's bar - 30 minutes - take a funicular ride to the castle and visit the highest viewing point in the city (approx. 1 hour) - time for a snack/lunch & visit of our local farmer's market (please note, there is no farmer's market on Sundays) - take a scenic boat ride (45 minutes) - walk back to our starting point
