Mateje is a rock star guide. She is the best guide I have have the fortune to meet. She is so knowledgeable and caring. We were engaged from the moment we started until the end of the day. We learned so much. We engaged in deep conversations. I definitely recommend Mateje.

Mateja was the best tour guide my husband and I have ever known! She was totally professional, and extremely knowledgable about Llubjana's history, culture and architecture. Mateja's English is excellent as is her communications. She clearly enjoys her career, taking an interest in us as individuals and our interests. My husband and I completely enjoyed the itinerary that Mateja created for this city tour. We also had a lot of questions and Mateja answered every one! Mateja was an outstanding guide. She arrived on time and proceeded to provide history, cultural information, political information, facts on various sights and was able to answer any questions we had. We felt like we really got to know Ljubljana and Slovenia very well. She was flexible and adapted to less than ideal weather; she was able to show us areas not originally part of the tour. My husband and I had a simply wonderful full-day tour of Ljubljana with Mateja. Mateja is extremely knowledgeable about the city, past and present. She is also very personable. The pace of the tour was perfect, with breaks for coffe and lunch. We never felt hurried and yet saw and learned more than we likely would have on our own.
