I'd like to introduce you some of the most beautiful spots in my country together with a brief political and cultural history of Slovenia. Visit Slovenia attraction number one in a half a day. There is always good weather to go into a cave. . . a Queen of caves in this case. Not the biggest in the world and frankly, not even in this small country of 2 million people, anymore. Still, it's the most visited with over 39 million visitors over 200 years in business. A nearby legendary cave castle with a treasure is a bonus. Although I've seen travellers that preferred the castle actually. I'd just say it is like a cherry on the cake and yes there will be cherries in the story I will tell you along the way. Additional sightseeing stops can be agreed upon by your request. I'll be happy to prolong the tour to Trieste Italy if only for a cappuccino by the sea. You didn't know Trieste is called a coffee town (la città del caffè)? But that is the start of another story already . . .
We had a rainy day, so this tour was perfect. The caves are incredible, much better than the pictures! And the stories of the castle built into the cliff were very interesting as was the interior. George is an excellent guide and can answer any question (we tested him with our trivia of the day and he scored 100!). Don't hesitate to book this tour.

Excellent tour guide. He customized the tour based on our interests and physical abilities. So we went to a more interesting cave which required extensive walking. Guide is very knowledgeable about the sights, Slovenia and it's history, culture and economy.
Gorazd was a great guide- extremely informative and went out of his way to take us on a great tour Went to Postojna cave and Predjama castle, Lipica stud farm and then went to the coast and had lunch in Trieste Highly recommend
Fun, Friendly, Fantastic. George took us touring for two days. It was not only informative, but fun. He is proud of his country; he knows the history and explains it in an interesting way. He has a comfortable vehicle; is an excellent driver; prompt; knowledgeable, and very patient. He is just the BEST!
Gorazd was great. We were really pleased with the service we received and we were able to accomplish a lot in a relatively short period of time.
From Ljubljana we shall reach Postojna town in 40 min. You will spend 1, 5 h in a cave with a constant temperature of 8-10°C so bring an overcoat. Also, we will visit the Predjama cave castle another 9 km away. A break for a coffee or souvenir shopping is included. Any combination with other attractions in the area is possible upon request. To mention are the original Lipizzaners stud farm in Lipica, the Skocjan caves & nature park, and many more - I will be pleased to explain on a request. We can return to your hotel within 5 hours.
