Enjoy Ljubljana and its December festive appearance
Overview of your Ljubljana tour
The last month of the year can be very cold in Ljubljana, however, on the other hand in that month Ljubljana shows its most romantic appearance. The daylight in our city is getting shorter and shorter. We locals hardly wait for the festive lights to be switched on. We like to meet our friend for a glass of Mulled wine and we like to do Christmas shopping at the Christmas market along the river. Numerous local artisants are happy to have a chance to present their work done during the year. The walk should not be long (it could be pretty cold): our time together we can enrich with a boat ride or with a visit of our National Museum that is a home of the oldest music instrument in the world: the flute that is 60 000 years old. We shall finish the tour with a glass of mulled vine or a cup of tea or coffee at one of the stands along the river.
