Your Ljubljana tour itinerary
Beautiful forest area just a good hour from Ljubljana or Koper or Trieste. Scenic drive on the local rounds up to the forest to the 700 m altitude. We will do a nice walk through the forest, see the old abandoned fort, a view to the mountain that is almost 2000 m high. The region is very rich with history, because there was a border in the first world war. We will stop by the family that has a restaurant in the forest, its specialty is the bear meat. This is area I've offten visited in my childhood and afterwords while studying history of the home area. Go for something different, taste something new.
