Ljubljana is a lovely city. It's main charm is the river of Ljubljanica and its riverbanks. As architect Plečnik mentioned, this is it heart. Since July 2021 this is a UNESCO heritage as well. So, would you like to experience the city from another perspective? Join me on this lovely tour by a canoe. You will be amaized how great is our capital from its riverside. During the tour we will enjoy the view of major sights like: Prešern's Square, Market, Dragon's Bridge, Cobblers bridge, New town, The riverbanks in Krakovo & Trnovo as well as off the beaten path near Prule and Špica. If you will feel well, we can sneak into Ljubljana Marshes as well. This will be also the time, when you will get a lot of insiders suggestions for your time on your own. Meeting point at your hotel/accommodation Suitable for everyone who would like to be active while on tour and who would like to experience the city from another perspective.
This was our second tour with Mateja in Ljubljana, and it was wonderful! To see the city from the vantage point of the river was a great experience. Mateja's knowledge about the area far exceeds anything we were expecting. She went above and beyond our experience with other tour guides. A great way to see Ljubljana and highly recommended!

Great canoe tour and Mateja was a delight to learn from… our group was large and she worked hard to coordinate with me and set up the details. Our group enjoyed seeing the sites of Ljubljana from the river. Highly recommend!
We will meet at your hotel and go together to our Canoe Center. - We are going to get the most important instructions and be ready for our adventure! - We will paddle along Ljubljanica river towards city center: Cobbler's and Three Bridges, along the Market area towards the Dragon's Bridge. - At the unique Water Sluice Gate we will turn around and paddle back to the starting point. After the tour I will take you back to your accomodation.
