Marta was incredibly knowledgeable and well prepared. She created a tour that followed my interests and included things I would not have chosen. Very good but too short afternoon. I feel like I understand some fascinating portions of Polish history.
In all honesty if I could give Marta a greater than a 5 star rating I would as she deserved a 10. Tours by locals has never let me down and Marta is no exception. The number one things I look for in a guide are flexibility and accommodating the wishes of the traveler. Marta exceeded our every exception and she was fun to be with. She had a good command of English and she certainly knows her city. She deserves the highest rating and I recommend her to anyone visiting Warsaw.
This was the perfect option for the limited amount of time I had in Warsaw. We were able to discuss current and past politics, got a beautiful view of old town with pictures to match, and walk around the new city with a stop at a brewery. Thanks so much!
Marta arrived promptly and was flexible and crafted the tour to what we were interested in. Walked around old town and new town, learning about Warsaw and history as we strolled. Attentive and knowledgeable; would highly recommend her as a tour guide.
A great tour of Warsaw in the limited time I had available (a layover of 5 hours total). Marta was very knowledgeable, spoke good English and was great to get on with. Was on time at the airport for a 7am pick up and got me back in time for my return flight. Especially enjoyed the UNESCO listed 'old town' of Warsaw. Marta told me that it was warm for Warsaw in January (3 degrees) - coming from Australia it was more than cold enough for me! A worthwhile experience.
Marta was very knowledgable and friendly. She gladly answered all our Warsaw history questions. The tour was excellent and extensive. She also steered us to a great restaurant for dinner.
