Cześć! (means Hi in Polish language) My name is Anna. What I like the most in life is talking to my foreign friends and taking them around our beautiful city of Warsaw. Guiding is not only my job, but it's my way of life. I've been a certified Warsaw tour guide for the last 16 years. From the beginning of my professional life I've been working in tourism After having worked for the big international touroperators, I decided to work as a tour guide in Poland. I was born in Warsaw and I see how the city has been changing througout the years. Today I try to uncover its charm to tourists by talking about its history, telling you some funny stories about famous people, showing the most important places as well as some secluded, cosy nooks. I have visited many places on Earth. I am amazed by the wonders of nature, fascinated by different cultures and people who, although living in distant places, are so similar to each other. We all look for a beautiful view to admire, an interesting person to talk to and an exciting story to listen over a nice cup of coffee. I will do my best to give you all of these. I organize tours in Warsaw and also outside of Warsaw. Each of the offered itineraries, can be adjusted to your specific needs or personal requests. Do not hesitate to ask questions or drop some ideas you might have found on the internet or heard from your friends. I will be glad to check it out for you and add to the itinerary. If you want to build a few day program, I will be happy to do it. Come and enjoy. This tour is for those who love Chopin's music. You will find out about the life of the most famous Polish composer, who spent 20 years of his life in Warsaw. We will follow the same streets and go to the same places he was going. The idyllic place of his birthplace is absolutely unique. Can you imagine that at the time of Chopin it was just a side building of a palace? Since then the palace as well as all other buildings were distroyed. The only one which survived was this little manor, where once Chopin's family had lived. I have to admit that I'm in love with Chopin's music. I hope this tour will let you discover the tunes of Polish soul hidden in the notes of his music. If you want to know why he never got married or how it happened that his heart is kept in one of the Warsaw churches, join and enjoy this tour. The concert of Chopin music will be the cherry on the top of this cake. ** This tour is not available on Mondays as Chopin's Birthplace House is closed on this day.
* We start our day going 50 km (30 miles) out of Warsaw to Zelazowa Wola. About 45 minutes drive. * In Zelazowa Wola we visit the house where Frederic Chopin was born. We also take a walk in the picturesque park surrounding the manor. Visit of the manor and the park takes approx. 1, 5 hours. * Coffee break (30 minutes) * Drive back to Warsaw. About 45 minutes drive. * Coming back to Warsaw, we go to Lazienki Park where Chopin Monument is located (15 minutes) * We continue our tour with the visit to the Church of St. Cross where Chopin's heart is kept (15 minutes) * Finally we take a stroll along Krakowskie Przedmieście Street to see the places where he lived with his parents and sisters. I also point out a place where he gave his first concert. 1 hour walk. Optionally we can extend the tour with visit to Chopin's museum where you can see a number of Chopin's private belongings, including one of his pianos. I will be happy to recommend a place where you can enjoy the evening concert of Chopin music

This is mostly a walking tour as most of the places are located close to each other. However there will be a little bit of driving. For transfers we will use a modern, comfortable car able to accomodate up to 3 people. For a bigger party a mini-van can be arranged at additional cost.
