"Peter – Your Guide, Your Host, Your Driver... Your No Worries." Born and raised in the heart of New Zealand’s deep south, I’m a fourth-generation Kiwi with a deep passion for my homeland, Aotearoa. After moving to Auckland in 1990, it took a little time to adjust to city life, but soon enough, I found my rhythm in the bustling urban environment. Now, I’m a proud Aucklander, but I must admit—you’ll never take the South out of me fully! I still carry that Southern warmth and love for the land wherever I go. And any sports team called Otago! I come from a small business background, where I learned the vital importance of 'Keeping the Customer Satisfied.' This experience instilled in me a deep commitment to maintaining professional standards at all times and ensuring every client feels valued and cared for. I’m passionate about showing off New Zealand to visitors, whether it’s guiding you through the sights and sounds of this beautiful country or sharing stories and fun facts about its culture, history, and natural wonders. I believe that every tour should be unique and personal, with a strong focus on helping you feel at home in our land. When I’m not sharing the best of New Zealand with others, you’ll often find me outdoors—whether I’m walking through scenic trails, fishing in our pristine waters, or boating around our beautiful coastline. I believe that experiencing the natural beauty of New Zealand is an essential part of what makes this country so special, and I love sharing those outdoor adventures with others. I love to travel, explore new cultures, and spend time with my family. Whether I’m in Brazil, Japan, or at home, life is full of adventure, and I feel truly blessed. As a husband, father, brother, and loyal friend, I know the value of meaningful connections. I promise to greet you with a warm smile and a hearty "haere mai" (Welcome), making sure your time in New Zealand is not just a tour, but a memorable experience. Peter C

Join me on this private two night adventure where I’ll take you from the glowworm caves of Waitomo to the vast beauty of Lake Taupō — with a few of my favorite hidden gems along the way, like Waikahoro Lagoon and the crystal-clear Blue Springs of Putaruru...the on to Rotorua for the afternoon and night. This isn’t just a transfer. It’s a relaxed, scenic journey where every stop has a story. With a 9am start each day, time to explore at your own pace, and the comfort of traveling with me as your private guide & driver, you’ll experience both the iconic highlights of Aotearoas North Island gems and the tucked-away treasures I love sharing. ________________________________________
Day 1 – Auckland → Hamilton Gardens → Waitomo → Taupō Depart Auckland and visit the award-winning Hamilton Gardens, where each themed garden feels like stepping into a different world. Continue to the famous Waitomo Caves to see glowworms lighting up the darkness like a starry sky. We then head to Taupō, stopping at Huka Falls to see its thundering blue waters. Evening free to dine lakeside, stroll the shore, or relax. Day 2 – Taupō → Waikahoro Lagoon → Blue Spring → Putaruru After breakfast, we drive to Waikahoro Lagoon via a scenic but challenging 4WD-only gravel road. Its mirror-still waters reflect the forest — a true hidden gem. If open, we stop for handmade dumplings before visiting the Blue Spring, source of most of New Zealand’s bottled water. Day 3 – Putaruru → Rotorua → Auckland We continue to Rotorua for the afternoon to explore geothermal wonders, Māori culture, or soak in a hot spa. After dinner and an overnight stay, we return to Auckland with memories from this 3-day adventure.

My 2019 Subaru Outback is the quintessential Kiwi lifestyle vehicle. It is in excellent condition. It is safe, has all modern tech features and comfortable. I can organize a larger vehicle for larger parties if required. Costs to be discussed.
