"I am taking you to paradise" . . . . were my husband's words when I boarded the plane to Aotearoa for the first time. . . . Kia Ora and a warm welcome to Beautiful Auckland! I am Gesa, "a Kiwi by choice" and so fortunate to call Aotearoa and Auckland home. Leave the crowds behind, feel the beautiful nature and experience the real Auckland, that is what I stand for. Personal, flexible and individual! Above all, it is the personal touch that keeps clients coming back to book their next tour with me. I am proud to say that every tour I design is still unique to each client - tailor-made to create a special experience. All my tours are open to customization. As a keen runner and while training on Stewart Island (most southern island of NZ) up to Cape Reinga (most northern tip of NZ where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet) my passion and love for nature deepened and the idea of " Beautiful Nature Tours Auckland" formed. A Boutique Tour Guide Company with the idea for visitors to feel and experience the real Auckland and it's wonderful outdoors while being active and leaving the crowds behind. . . Take in the amazing nature while walking, listening to the wonderful bird life and seeing native animals of New Zealand in the wild. Originally from Hannover in Germany, I am living since fourteen years with my Kiwi husband and our three energetic sons in Auckland after spending ten years in Sydney and six months in Paris. For the last twenty five years we have been hiking/running/cycling the "Land of the long white cloud" with its breath-taking nature and I would love to show you this magnificent part of the world. I am passionate about inclusive tourism and open when appropriate to tailoring an adventure to each individual client and when needed have support & professional advice from the Makingtrax team. On this tour I will show you my favourite days out which I discovered exploring Auckland while training for a trail run off the beaten track. . . . and rewarding myself with some handmade chocolates afterwards. Day one will take you along the Matakana Wine trail to the breathtaking East Coast Regional Park, set on a remote Peninsula. We will walk along the Pacific Ocean's stunning coastline and experience some of the wider Auckland region's most beautiful white-sand beaches, rolling pastures, native coastal forest, and regenerating wetlands Day 2 we will experience Auckland's fascinating volcanic landscape, get a taste of Maori history and discover the wonderful West Coast on the Tasman Sea, the home of Maui Dolphins, Seals (Kekenos), and native birdlife before heading back into the City of Sails to visit some highlights (walk about 1hour). Day 3 we walk to one of my favorite waterfalls in the Waitakere Ranges (one way 45 min walk). Bring some swimmers, you might feel like a "shower". Experience Pure NZ!
