Join me to discover my Auckland. I am passionate about sharing Auckland and its region with international visitors. I have been helping visitors and locals alike discover Auckland, its highlights and hidden gems for a decade. My area of expertise is in arts and culture. I can be the guide for you if culture is your thing. We can combine any of the following into a unique experience for you and your friends and family. Consider experiencing our Street Art, Maori Urban Design, Galleries, public sculpture, laneways, architecture, waterfronts, history and cool neighbourhoods into your time in Auckland. I have been running art and culture focused tours since 2007 for small groups, mostly overseas. Now it is time spend more time focusing on what we have at home, here in Tamaki Makaurau and its myriad of volcanic cones, coffee, culture and coastlines. As a practising artist I can share my knowledge and experience of our local art scene with you and recommend local galleries and museums to visit, the best places to buy something to take home, and where to stop for coffee or lunch in between.

Enjoy a day out of the city in my favourite part of the region, where stunning coastal scenery meets art, food, and wine. Discover the golden sands of Omaha Beach, explore charming Matakana Village, and enjoy time to browse local boutiques and artisan products. Visit inspiring art and sculpture, then wine and dine at the beautiful Brick Bay Vineyard, surrounded by native bush and vineyards. This tour is special because it combines relaxation, creativity, and authentic local flavours in one seamless experience. It’s the perfect way to see a different side of Auckland — peaceful, picturesque, and full of character. Come and experience the best of the Matakana Coast in one unforgettable day. This itinerary is totally customisable. Ask me how.
Departing Auckland at 9am we head north to the Matakana region. Matakana is a picturesque semi rural region full of beautiful beaches. Heading first to the Omaha Beach, before stopping in Matakana Vilage for coffee and a browse. Visit a local artist subject to availability. Lunch at Brick Bay Winery before walking their amazing sculpture trail which winds through native bush brimming with sculptures by New Zealand artists. Subject to timing we may visit Leigh, Ti Point or Tawharanui Regional Park. This tour explores a part of our region that is special to me. It combines the best of our beaches, landscapes, access to vineyards, art and sculpture, all just an hour from downtown Auckland. Finish with fresh fruit icecream and head home. Arriving back in Auckland around 4pm
