**Awarded Local Legend By ToursByLocals** for South and Central Asia & Oceania! Kia ora. I would love you to spend some time with me as we explore Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and beyond. I grew up on a farm, attended the small local country school, went to high school in Auckland and have lived mostly in Auckland. I will share the sights, secrets and tastes of New Zealand's largest city with you. As your private tour guide you will see the best sights and my favourite spots where you can enjoy the nature, history and culture of a city built on more than 50 dormant volcanoes. Whether you choose to walk or be driven you can be assured it will be at an enjoyable pace. I'm very flexible so you can always suggest or change something as we go. Just relax, have a great day out and enjoy discovering the real New Zealand with me. I have been working with international visitors for about 30 years and have lived and worked overseas. I love travelling and making friends. I'm a great believer in Slow Travel, having a local experience and taking away lots of good memories. Free Wifi available while you are with me. Ka kite ano New Zealand Passenger licence, Current First Aid Certificate, NZ ProGuides member, CELTA - Certificate English Language Teaching Adults, Kiwihost programme Vehicle has COF, TSL and I have a P endorsement on my licence.

Sometimes it's great to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Auckland and enjoy all the things that New Zealander's love to do. It doesn't take long to leave the city behind and enjoy a day in the countryside. Food is my passion and that's the reason I love this day out so much. Lunch is included and will included lots of fresh flavours and maybe some new foods, The perfect opportunity to meet locals, enjoy the farmland and amazing views as we pass through villages and farmland. Today we are enjoying bush walks, sculptures in the garden, wineries, a gourmet food store, nature, and amazing views to the Tasman Sea. I do like to start and finish the day with views from our amazing volcanoes! A little bit of walking involved. .
- First a brief introduction to downtown Auckland. - Over the harbour bridge to Devonport and take a walk on a volcano and explore the seaside village - Next we travel to the north and an amazing sculpture garden set among beautiful native trees and plants - Enjoy nature, art and views all in one place - it is a very well organised beautiful wilderness! - Visit a Gourmet Food Market and enjoy seeing the orchard and locally grown produce - Let me surprise you with lunch. It will be a great way to sample some local tastes. Lunch with Louise is always a great affair and you will enjoy the atmosphere and flavours of Aotearoa New Zealand - Enjoy a tasting of some of New Zealand's best wines eg Pinot Gris and Chardonnay - Feeling relaxed we will now begin our journey back into the city - We should have enough time to visit Maungawhau Mt Eden, our highest volcano and enjoy the 360 views from the tihi (summit)
