I grew up on a farm, attended the small local country school, went to high school in Auckland and have lived mostly in Auckland. I will share the sights, secrets and tastes of New Zealand's largest city with you.
As your private tour guide you will see the best sights and my favourite spots where you can enjoy the nature, history and culture of a city built on more than 50 dormant volcanoes.

I have fabulous suggestions for shopping and souvenirs for those last minute gifts. I also know the best places to dine in Auckland so you can enjoy our freshest food and seafood specialties. Your Auckland in a Day offers a little bit of everything and a good dose of 'Kiwi' culture.
Lots of stops for photos and walks along the way. Morning tea is a chance to try a flat white coffee and baking. Lunch is at a favourite cafe and enjoy a Hokey Pokey ice cream later in the day.

Waitomo Caves are a must do if you are visiting New Zealand. You will be impressed by some of the most beautiful countryside in the North Island. 2 1/2 hours from Auckland to Waitomo. See the rolling farmland and travel alongside New Zealand's longest river, the mighty Waikato (flowing water)
We will pass through small villages, see fabulous mountains and scenic reserves, pass by the residence of the Maori King, stop in the famous Kiwiana town and explore the Waitomo area
We join a personalised tour which was started by an old friend and is truly the best way to explore this area. Visit a scenic back country farm to see wonderful caves, marvel at thousands of glowworms and enjoy walks in a limestone landscape. This reminds me of my childhood days and fun on the farm - nothing has changed!
Photos can be taken in one of the caves; if you are a keen photographer ask me about a specialised tour.
Waitomo is remote, beautiful and exciting. Visitors have been coming to admire these caves since 1887
