Mani was an excellent guide. We saw many things in Oaxaca that we would never have seen without him. He is obviously a very curious individual and that means he is always learning something new about the city, it's culture, and the people. We had an excellent time with him and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Mani was a fantastic guide, is an artist and a musician, and incorporated art and music sights on our tour (including a stop at a woodcut artists' collective shop) along with cultural/historic elements. He lived in the States for many years and his English is perfect. We went to lunch with him at a very local place he picked out and enjoyed the local experience there.

Mani was a delight and a we had a wonderful introduction to Oaxaca through his eyes. If anything, we didn't fully come prepared - he has an active and modern artistic lens on the city and we were a big jetlagged and tired to have questions that could have personalized the tour even more. So my advice is, have some sense of the art and history and architecture you are most interested in and do let him know. He is excited to help you see and love Oaxaca as much as he does.

We had a truly amazing tour with Mani today. From beginning to end, we were treated to a treasure trove of information about the city.. We learned about its rich cultural and natural history and visited many beautiful sites. We enjoyed a wealth of information about the city's food, its artistic community and visited many of its hidden secrets that we would never have known about otherwise. Before we took Mani's tour we were concerned about having enough to do during our week here. Mani left us with way, way more than enough to do, see (and eat) in a week. I guess we'll have to plan another trip to this wonderful city in the near future.
