Hola! Me llamo Gabriel Sanchez AKA "Gabo" Coming from an Indigenous village in the state of Oaxaca, motivated me to choose and study history in a foreign country in this case the U. S. I chose history because I wanted to know my roots better, my language and more... I have also led tours in Central and South America which has helped me built my guiding experience in the last 12 years. I chose to be a Certified Tour guide in Mexico in order to share my knowledge with travelers interested in the Mexican history and ancient cultures. I currently live in Oaxaca because this is home, there is so much to share about Oaxaca, I never get fatigue sharing my culture with travelers from around the world. My personal experiences from traveling has made me become a better guide and also has motivated me to go deeper academically in other cultures. Being able to guide in about 20 states in Mexico has giving me more knowledge about my country, working with travelers from all over the world has made me realize how much of the world México has. I am truly in love with what I have been doing for 10+ years, there might be other guides with more years of experience than me, but there will never be someone that will out prepare me for every tour. I wake up everyday with 100% energy to give it all to travelers!!! Traveling is not just a vacation is about creating memories and that is what I do with travelers, make memorable experiences. Allow me to make your trip into a memorable cultural experience with your friends and family. As Ibn Battuta once said "Traveling- it leaves you speechless, then turns you in a storyteller" I promise to give the BEST QUALITY service, you and your family or friends deserve!!! #05244 Federal Guide license Diplomas from Courses in Archeology, history and Art. International Drivers Licence for tourism

Overview of your Oaxaca tour

Hierve al Agua is a magical place, it has become so popular in the last five years, it is one in a half-hour East of the city of Oaxaca at 2000 meters above sea level, a place in the middle of the mountains with an amazing view, there are only two places like this in the world, Turkey and Mexico. The water because of its minerals has created a petrified waterfall over thousands of years. A perfect place where you can swim with an extraordinary view of the mountains. Teotitlan del Valle one of the only Villages in the State of Oaxaca that still does natural colors, very well know for that art. A Zapotec village where the majority of people still speaks the local language but not to mention all the artwork done there, each rug they make is with sheep wool and natural colors. A place where you can see the real hand made rugs.
