Hola! Me llamo Gabriel Sanchez AKA "Gabo" Coming from an Indigenous village in the state of Oaxaca, motivated me to choose and study history in a foreign country in this case the U. S. I chose history because I wanted to know my roots better, my language and more... I have also led tours in Central and South America which has helped me built my guiding experience in the last 12 years. I chose to be a Certified Tour guide in Mexico in order to share my knowledge with travelers interested in the Mexican history and ancient cultures. I currently live in Oaxaca because this is home, there is so much to share about Oaxaca, I never get fatigue sharing my culture with travelers from around the world. My personal experiences from traveling has made me become a better guide and also has motivated me to go deeper academically in other cultures. Being able to guide in about 20 states in Mexico has giving me more knowledge about my country, working with travelers from all over the world has made me realize how much of the world México has. I am truly in love with what I have been doing for 10+ years, there might be other guides with more years of experience than me, but there will never be someone that will out prepare me for every tour. I wake up everyday with 100% energy to give it all to travelers!!! Traveling is not just a vacation is about creating memories and that is what I do with travelers, make memorable experiences. Allow me to make your trip into a memorable cultural experience with your friends and family. As Ibn Battuta once said "Traveling- it leaves you speechless, then turns you in a storyteller" I promise to give the BEST QUALITY service, you and your family or friends deserve!!! #05244 Federal Guide license Diplomas from Courses in Archeology, history and Art. International Drivers Licence for tourism

Gabriel is an excellent guide. He is well informed and communicates well. We learned a lot! He knew important and not always obvious details about Monte Alban. He took us to a fabulous local restaurant. One of the best meals on our trip. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Yum! We also went to place which produces famous black pottery. The woman who began making the pottery is no longer living but was visited by ex-Presidents and movie stars. Beautiful pottery, very reasonably priced.

We toured Monte Alban and a local artisan with Gabriel. He was a safe driver and an efficient & effective guide. He drives a comfortable SUV (no water provided). Gabriel is knowledgeable to a degree that will satisfy many tourists. He could benefit from additional education beyond what he has studied in his undergraduate education as well acquired on his own. He uses no aids. In terms of value, Gabriel is expensive at $300 for 2 ($100 / person would have been fair especially since we ended early.

This tour was no less than amazing thanks to Gabriel! Not only did we get a comprehensive history and viewing of Monte Alban, but Gabriel took us to see beautiful black clay pottery and TWO delicious restaurants in addition to giving us historical knowledge (that we asked for) throughout the drives. I honestly don't see how the tour could've been better. If you're on the fence, don't be! You'll have an amazing time!

He is a very good guy who has studied in the USA and so has perfect English. He is flexible in designing a tour to needs. He is very knowledgeable. We definitely would use him again and recommend him to others.

Gabriel was a wonderful, personable and knowledgeable guide. We would highly recommend him to anyone traveling in Mexico (as he does tours in many parts of the country). We went on a tour with him to Monte Alban, and then to lunch and shopping I the black pottery village of San Bartolo where we went to a few stores until we found exactly what we were looking for.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Gabriel in Oaxaca. Professional, personable, incredibly knowledgeable, exceptional English skills. I felt like I was traveling with an old friend. He did everything he could to maximize my experience at Monte Alban and help me appreciate the local culture. Having done his own extensive research, he was able to patiently entertain all of questions
